Macaroni and Cheese Leads to New Adventures
Nine members of the Divide County FFA Chapter in Crosby,
North Dakota, found themselves delivering compassion
while enjoying an adventure this past December. The
group, led by FFA advisor Butch Haugland, had the honor
of flying to New York City to donate 76,000 boxes of
macaroni and cheese to City Harvest.
City Harvest is the largest and oldest food rescue program
in the world. The food City Harvest collects is distributed
to more than 500 different emergency organizations.
Since Sept. 11, agencies City Harvest assists have
reported a 30 percent average increase in customers
needing their services.
